For nearly two decades O Duo have been performing worldwide, entertaining and educating audiences of all ages. Formed in 2001 by Owen Gunnell and Oliver Cox, whilst studying at the Royal College of Music, in 2018 Toby Kearney (another RCM graduate) joined Owen to continue the musical journey. The Duo made their Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut with their show, ‘Bongo Fury’ to sell-out crowds and critical acclaim, returning for two subsequent years. Since then, O Duo has gone from strength to strength, giving recitals all around the world, performing both chamber music and concertos in the top concert halls, with many of the most renowned orchestras and ensembles; giving virtuosic performances with their own inimitable laid-back presentation, and sharing their passion for both percussion and music in general.

Renowned for their ‘phenomenal artistry’ and described as ‘brimming with style and panache’ (The Daily Telegraph), performing highlights include: BBC Proms, the Last Night of the Proms in Hyde Park, recitals at the Wigmore Hall, Cheltenham and City of London Festivals; concertos with the BBC Philharmonic, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, London Philharmonic and Philharmonia Orchestras, BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. They have broadcast with BBC Radio 2 and 3, Channel 4 and BBC television. Their first CD, released on the Sony BMG label in 2007 to critical acclaim, featured as CD of the week in The Daily Telegraph.
