About this event
An all-star quintet of folk musicians led by local legend Sam Partridge perform a varied programme exploring and celebrating the instrumental folk repertoire of England.Â
With an upbringing firmly rooted in the classical music tradition, but having established a career in the folk scene, Sam combines his passions from each world - chamber music for wind ensemble, and English traditional instrumental dance.
Sam has drawn on his various musical experiences to write this programme of new music for wind quintet, exploring and celebrating English folk music.
